Mr. P’s Blind & Shade Company was established in 1992 and still remains a privately owned company. Our early years consisted of selling retail custom made motorized window coverings. Since then, we have grown steadily over the years and now operate a state of the art manufacturing facility in two buildings in the Airpark Business District of Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. P’s Blind & Shade Company currently manufactures the entire line of motorized interior window treatments at the Airpark.
Tom Peterson, owner of Mr. P’s Blind & Shade Company, has been a proactive force in his approach to the business. It has been his innovative and entrepreneurial spirit that has moved the company forward. By developing lasting relationships with clients and associated trades throughout the Phoenix area and listening to their needs, Mr. P’s Blind & Shade Company has introduced: “Cooperative Networking”, a fresh new business model in the development of meaningful business relations.
Over 100 years of combined experience has been the strength behind Mr. P’s success. The staff continually attends training and educational seminars to stay on top of an ever-changing industry. This knowledge is also passed on to clients and to the trades. Conducting in-house seminars for integrators and others is an example of Mr. P’s commitment to provide education to the marketplace. As a testament to the staff’s commitment, the company has grown from a few employees to over twenty-eight trained professionals.
